Sophie D’ Angelo 87, of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday March 24, 2009 at RWJUH at Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, Sophie was a life-long Trenton-Hamilton resident, and a member of Hamilton Twp. Seniors Club.

She was a sales representative in the cosmetics department for Dunham’s Department Stores in Trenton and Hamilton where she retired after many years of service.

Daughter of the late Peter and Sophie Zimmerly Higgins, wife of the late John D’ Angelo,, she is survived by three cousins Keith Zimmerly and his wife Janet of Mercerville, Norman Zimmerly and Linda Martin both of Virginia, several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday 12 noon at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home.

Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
