Edwin W. Gniewkowski, 79, of West Trenton passed away Friday at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.

Born in McKeesport, PA, he was a West Trenton resident.

He was Director of Personnel Services for the Department of Labor, State of New Jersey.

Son of the late Stanley and Helen Gniewkowski, brother of the late Anthony, Bernard and Stanley Gniewkowski, he is survived by his wife of 31 years, Nancy Waldron Gniewkowski of West Trenton; his son and daughter-in-law, John E. Gniewkowski and Roxane T. Reinhart of St. Charles, MO; two grandsons, James and Ryan; his sister, Patricia Schwab of Glassport, PA; and nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
