Rosemary Krell passed away peacefully at home, Friday morning July 24.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Tom Drexel, her daughter Ivy Rose Drexel, her brothers and sisters, James Krell, Eileen Cuff, Suzanne Kaufman, Lisa Manente, Denise Broschart, Brian Krell, Melinda Krell, Steven Krell and her many nieces and nephews, as well as her cousins and an extended family of friends and colleagues she has held dear for many years. She is pre-deceased by her Mother and Father, Louise and James Krell and her brother John.
Rose was an Art Teacher, her passion, for 22 years with the last 11 years in Slackwood School in Lawrenceville.
Rose lived her life fully and remained committed to all despite a constant battle with ovarian cancer for nearly four years. She climbed mountains, danced with vigor and touched the lives of all who came to know her. She maintained that the purpose in life was to do and to love. She imparted a sense of accomplishment and personal value to any child who entered her class and she loved them all. We will all hold her forever in our hearts.
The family will have an open house at their home, (corrected address) 712 Mayflower Ave. Lawrenceville, N.J. for visitors from 2PM to 7PM on July 30, 31 and Aug. 1.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, Danskin Team Survivor or to the Ivy Rose Fund For Education. Please contact Tom for details.
