West Trenton. Joseph F. Reading 88, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 at CareOne in Ewing.
Born in Trenton, Mr. Reading lived in West Trenton. He was a graduate of Trenton Catholic Boy’s High School and attended Rider College School of Business. An Army veteran, Mr. Reading served in the Southwest Pacific Theater during WWII. He worked in Washington D.C. for the Alderson Reporting Company for seven years and then in Trenton as a self-employed Verbatim Stenotype reporter until his retirement in 1995.
Son of the late Joseph J. and Helen Smith Reading, husband of the late Mary L. D’Amore, brother of the late James Reading. He is survived by his cousins, William Reading Jr., Sharon Lake, Mark Reading, Roberta Duerner and his late wife’s niece and nephew; Paul D’Amore and Claire MacGillivray. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
