Michael F. Lipp
Michael F. Lipp, 76, of Hamilton passed away on Saturday March 23, 2013 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis in Trenton.

Visiting hours will be held from 10:00am to 12 noon on Tuesday March 26th 2013 at M William Murphy Funeral Home in Hamilton 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton. A short memorial service will follow at 12 noon.

Michael was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 7, 1937. He graduated from New Utrecht High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn Polytech and a Masters in Math from Stanford University.

He served in the US Army for 6 months after college and then worked for RCA in Moorestown NJ where he first learned to program computers. He continued to program and moved to NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) and then later to AT&T and GE Medinet where he met his future wife. Michael was married to Nancy Lambert and they were married for 45 years. He was one of the founders of Rapidata Inc and developed a time sharing system. He continued to work in the computer field for many years. Upon retiring from the computer field, he started his own business as a Life Coach helping others attain their dreams.

In 1991, he founded a charity - Events to Empower Humanity with his wife Nancy and a circle of close friends. They worked to end hunger- raising awareness about hunger and raising funds for other ending hunger organizations and receiving the Empowering Humanity Award . He led programs for Landmark Education and the Pachamama Alliance. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Michael is survived by his wife, Nancy, his brother, Alan, his son, Jay Lipp (Carmela) ; his daughters, Deborah Lipp, Roberta Lipp, Sunny Holman (Curtis Holman II) , Aliya Lipp, Ariel Swain (Steven Wineburg) and their grandchildren, Arthur Lipp-Bonewits, Curtis III, Brandon and Aiden Holman, Shayla Swain, Diamond and Camron Davis and loving nieces, nephews and friends.
