John A. Croke
John A. Croke, 70, of Hamilton passed away Sunday at St. Francis Medical Center.
Born in Trenton he was a life long area resident. Mr. Croke was a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was an avid Notre Dame and NY Yankees fan. John was employed at Kmart of Hamilton for 16 years before retiring.
Son of the late Dennis and Mary Ryan Croke, husband of the late Kathleen, brother of the late Dennis, Jim, Tessie, Kitty, Patricia and Nonie, he is survived by his wife, Ann Croke of Hamilton; 2 daughters, Catherine M. and her husband, Robert McKeever of Yardville, Patricia Croke of Hamilton; 1 son, John D. Croke of Trenton; 1 step daughter, Diane and her husband Bill Brucks of Manahawkin NJ; 1 sister, Helen Smalley; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his beloved dog Max.
Calling hours will be Friday from 10-12:00 Noon at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. Hamilton NJ 08619. Burial, with military honors will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
