John “Jack” N. Keefe
John “Jack” N. Keefe, 89, of Ewing passed away Monday at Capital Health Systems – Hopewell.
Born in Cleveland, OH, he has been a Ewing resident since 1950.
Mr. Keefe was owner/operator of Keefe’s Lock Shop in Ewing for many years.
He was a member of the Master Locksmith Association of NJ, the American Locksmiths Association and the American Legion Post 314, Ewing.
He also served in the US Army with the rank of Staff Sergeant
Husband of the late Doris S. Keefe, grandfather of the late John N. Keefe and twin brother of the late Jean Weeast, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, J. Richard and Ann Marie Keefe of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandson, Scot Keefe of Myrtle Beach, SC; his great grandson, Tyler Keefe; his sister, Betty Goddard of MD; also, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home. 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am. Rev. Jan Willem van der Werff, Pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial in Ewing Cemetery will follow. Visit www.murphyfh.com for additional information.
