M. Janet Kelly
Yardley, PA. – M. Janet Kelly died on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Spring Village at Floral Vale. She was 88.
Born in Trenton, NJ, she lived in Ewing, NJ for most of her life before moving to Spring Village in Yardley, PA in 2009. Janet, as she was known to all, was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Huley Kelly. She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara, and her brother, Joseph.
Janet retired from the New Jersey State Racing Commission. She was a devout member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church and a past president of the Altar and Rosary Society. She also frequently drove the parish priests on their visitations to the sick and provided transportation for older parishioners.
Janet enjoyed going to the races at Monmouth Park and Saratoga, taking pictures at family events and dining out with family and friends, usually at Freddie’s in West Trenton.
Janet is survived by numerous cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 West Upper Ferry Road, West Trenton on Monday at 11AM. Burial will be in St Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be at the church from 10AM until the time of mass.
