Joseph F. Morello
Joseph F. Morello, 90, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 with his loving family by his side.
Born in Trenton, Joe was a life long area resident.
He was a self employed Businessman / Investor, and former owner/operator of Hamilton Food Market ( now Chiarello’s) located on Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton for more than 30 years, before retiring in 1986.
Joe was a former member of St. Joachim’s Church, and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony’s Parish. He was an avid bowler, Sinatra fan, and a New York Giants fan since 1930.
Son of the late Pascal and Mamie Tucci Morelli, husband of the late Catherine Morello, father of the late beloved Joseph Morello, and brother of the late Anthony Arcamono, and Frank Morello, he is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Ralph Chiarello of Hamilton; one brother, Lou Morello of Destin, FL.; a sister-in-law Anna Mattia of Hamilton, with whom he resided; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, including Mary Ann Spair of Hamilton; and many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, S. Olden Ave. in Hamilton.
Entombment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum, Cedar Lane in Hamilton.
Calling hours will be Sunday Evening from 6 – 8 P.M.; and Monday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton.
