Mary M. Kerlin
Mary M. Kerlin (92), of Hamilton, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 peacefully at her home.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, she was a lifelong Trenton resident until she moved to Hamilton in 1999.

Miss Kerlin retired as Secretary-Treasurer of Robert E. La Blanc Associates, a telecommunications consulting firm. She had a varied career, having worked for the Federal Government during World War II; John A. Roebling's Sons Company in Trenton until its dissolution; a Wall Street firm and a small, independent telephone company which led to her affiliation with La Blanc Associates. Miss Kerlin was a graduate of Trenton Central High School and attended St. Joseph’s College, Philadelphia.

She was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony, Trenton, the Church’s Rosary-Altar Society, and at one time she acted as Secretary of that organization. She was an extraordinary minister of the Holy Eucharist. She was also a former member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division #6.

Daughter of the late Michael and Marguerite J. Reynolds Kerlin she was predeceased by her sisters Rita E. Benning, Kathleen B. Gabriel, and Helen J. Condit, her brother James M. Kerlin, her brothers-in-law Richard H. Gabriel, Robert E. Condit, Joseph T. Riordan, and Joseph F. Benning. She is survived by her sister Suzanne M. Riordan, her sister-in-law Elaine F. Kerlin, 20 nieces and nephews, their spouses and friends, and 21 great-nieces and great-nephews. She dearly loved all of these people.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 626 South Olden Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton, New Jersey.

Family and friends may call 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday Evening, and Thursday morning 9:30 10:30 a.m. at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, New Jersey.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony, 3816 East State Street Extension, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
