Frances Cusick, 75, of Ewing passed away Monday at Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Ewing resident.
Mrs. Cusick worked the deli counter at SuperFresh in Princeton for almost 10 years before retiring several years ago. She attended St. Mary’s Cathedral High School. A talented seamstress and cook, she specialized in sauces and gravies.
Frances was a huge John Wayne fan. She had a wide variety of John Wayne memorabilia and affectionately referred to him as her hero.
Daughter of the late George and Lucy Russell Young, mother of the late Virginia Cusick-Wills, grandmother of the late Jonathan Patrick Dunn, sister of the late Alvin Young, mother-in-law of the late Charlie Dunn and former wife of the late John Cusick, she is survived by her two daughters, Martha Cusick of Ewing and Diane Dunn of Browns Mills; her grandson, Paul German, Jr.; 4 great grandchildren, Paul III, Jacob, Josh and Damien; also several cousins, including Mary Ferry and Patty Carr.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10am until the funeral service at 12 noon officiated by clergy of Incarnation Church at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
