John J. “Johnny O” “Oman” Olexovitch
John J. “Johnny O” “Oman” Olexovitch, 59, of Trenton, passed away on Thursday September 12, 2013 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Born in Trenton, Johnny O. was a life long resident.
He was Head Vault Clerk for the State of New Jersey Division of Treasury, for over 40 years, until the time of his death.
Johnny O. was a member of St. Raphael’s – Holy Angels Parish, was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and he enjoyed golf, bowling, horse racing, and country music.
Son of the late Joseph and Margaret Malosh Olexovitch, he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Joann Olexovitch of Medina, Ohio; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Betty ( wife of the late Sam) Hunter of Whitehall, Montana; Marge and Rich Parrish of E. Windsor; and Barbara and Guy Lettiere of Columbus; two nieces, Lauren Lettiere; and Jennifer Carlino (Matt) and family; three nephews, Todd Parrish; Mike Lettiere (Melissa Chalker); and John Olexovitch (Erin); Several aunts, uncles cousins, and many friends including, Scott Johnson, and Andy Dow.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday 8:15 a.m. at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton. Visit www.murphyfh.com.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Angel Church, 1717 S. Broad St. in Hamilton.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be Tuesday evening from 6 – 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
