Marjorie A. (nee Kinnard) Carter

Marjorie A. (nee Kinnard) Carter, 89, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville, with her daughter by her side.

Born in Philadelphia, PA., and formerly of Seaside Heights, N.J., Morrisville, PA., and Hamilton, N.J., Mrs. Carter has resided in the Lawrenceville area for the past 7 years.

She was a homemaker, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxilliary of Seaside Heights, and Past President of Seaside Heights Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Daughter of the late William and Mary Jane Casper Kinnard, wife of the late William T. Carter Jr., Mother of the late Susan L. Carter, mother-in-law of the late George “Mickey” Loh Jr., and sister of the late Grant C. Kinnard, she is survived by her daughter, Jane F. Loh Clemens and husband David Clemens of Hamilton; two grandsons, Michael Loh and wife Victoria of Hamilton; Scott W. Loh and wife Natalia of Hamilton; three grandchildren Melissa Estler and husband Tyler, Alex Mason, and Brittany Marie Loh; one great grandson Dylan Estler, and several nieces and nephews including MaryAnn Mate and Sister Joan Carter, Sisters of Mercy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 3:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville, N.J.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until time of mass at the chapel at Morris Hall.

Arrangements are by the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton.

At this time the family would like to thank all the Staff and Hospice Nurses (2nd Floor) at St. Joseph’s for their great care given to Marjorie.

Donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice 601 Hamilton Ave., Trenton, N.J. 08629 in memory of George M. Loh Jr.
