Richard Francis McQuillan
Richard Francis McQuillan, 81, passed away at his home in Columbus on Wednesday.

Born January 1, 1932 in Trenton to the late Frank and Margaret McGoldrick McQuillan, he was a graduate of St. Anthony’s School, Trenton Catholic High School and the University of Maryland.

Mr. McQuillan worked for the chief claims bureau with the Division of Pensions - State of New Jersey for 26 years, retiring in 1993.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Predeceased by his parents, his maternal grandmother, Hanna Moher and his aunt, Mary McGoldrick, he is survived by his wife, Katherine Ronan McQuillan; his cousins, Janice Fabian and George Dzierkoc, sisters-in-law, Sister Mary McAuley, Rosemary Ronan; brother-in-law, Msgr. Hugh Ronan; his friends, Frank Balcavage and Richard DeGregory; also, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral will be Saturday 9:30AM from the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11AM in St. Vincent de Paul Church, Yardville. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
