Jean E. Powlish
Jean E. Powlish, 87, of Ewing passed away Wednesday at Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hamilton.
Born in Boonton, NJ, she has resided in Ewing for the past 17 years.
Mrs. Powlish was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, cats and spending time with her family.
Daughter of the late George and Dorothy Van Orden Ervey, wife of the late John J. Powlish, sister of the late Dorothy Krudope, Madeline Greik and George Ervey, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Donna Powlish of Ewing; 3 grandchildren, Christopher (Katie) Powlish of Ewing, Heather (Carlos) Montero of CA, and Dennis (Alexis) Powlish of Hamilton; 3 great grandchildren, Anastazia Montero, Catarina and Chase Powlish, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing from 9am until time of service at 11am officiated by the Rev. Jim Pruner of West Trenton Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the New Cemetery, Somerville, NJ
