Jane Rohn Tobish
Jane Rohn Tobish, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Capital Health Center Hopewell.

Born in Philadelphia, Jane grew up in Morrisville, Pa. and, upon marriage, resided in Princeton for over 35 years, and most recently lived in Pennington, NJ.

She graduated from Trenton High School and William and Mary College. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, and was an active participant in the Bible Study Group-Princeton Chapter for over 10 years.

Jane ran the Nassau Shoe Tree on Palmer Square for over 30 years. She was a past member of the Trenton Junior League and the Trenton Country Club. She was an exquisite seamstress, creating beautiful garments for her dear friends and family members. Also, she was passionate about animals-- her own and in the wild.

Jane was predeceased by her husband, Joseph B., her parents Martin and Ruth Rohn, her oldest son Christopher "Kip" Tobish, and her brother-in-law Theodore Tobish. She is survived by her two sons-- Jonathan and his wife Jody of Ewing Township, their daughters Liza and her husband Win Slauch of Oxford, Pa, and Samantha of NYC; Brock Tobish and his wife Christy, and his children, Bryce and Savannah of Shelbyville, TN; along with Kip's wife Lynne Goodwin and their daughter Leslie C.; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Tobish. Jane is also survived by her two dear friends, Ann H. Convery and Carole Shambora.

A private service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements under the direction of the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, Ewing.
