Richard R. Seibel
Richard R. Seibel, 89, of Ewing passed away Wednesday at RWJUH at Hamilton.
Born in Titusville, NJ, he lived most of his life in Ewing.
Mr. Seibel was a bus operator, and later an office administrator, with NJ Transit retiring after a career that endured more than 40years.
A graduate of Trenton High School, he took great pride in being an FAA licensed private pilot with approximately 1000 hours of pilot-in-command time and an amateur radio operator with the call letters, WB2TBH.
Mr. Seibel was an honorably discharged Navy veteran of WWII.
Son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Sipes Seibel, husband of the late Florence T. Seibel, brother of the late Harry and James Seibel, he is survived by his son, with whom he resided, Barry R. Seibel; his brother, John Seibel of Hamilton; two sisters-in-law, Jean Seibel of Deland, FL and Patricia Seibel of Charlestown, SC; his nephew, James Seibel, Jr. and a niece, Amy Seibel.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9am until 10am at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave. Ewing. Funeral Service will begin at 10am. Burial with military honors will follow in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing.
