Edward J. Hoch
Edward J. Hoch, 91, of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.

Born in Trenton, Edward was a lifelong area resident.

Edward was a tool and die maker for US Steel Fairless Works, Fairless Hills, PA, retiring after a 33 years career.

Son of the late Anthony and Amelia Marcella Hoch, husband of the late Anna M. Hoch and father of the late Anna Marie Giovanelli, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Veronica Hoch of Hamilton; a daughter, Mary Ann Miller of Trenton; a son-in-law, Robert Giovanelli of Plato, MO; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter; 1 sister, Irene Smedley of Hamilton; 1 sister-in-law, Shirley Strubel of Trenton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be Monday at 11AM in the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave. Burial will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10AM until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s name may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation, 11 Independence Way, Newark, DE 19713.
