Mary Jane “Jane” Verdel
Mary Jane “Jane” Verdel, 91, passed away Friday, July 4 at CareOne in Hamilton.
Born in Hatboro, PA, she lived for many years in the Trenton area before moving to Yardley, PA. Her final years were spent at CareOne.
An active member of St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, she retired from the NJ Division of Motor Vehicles as the receptionist to the Director.
Daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Patricelli D’Angelo, wife of the late John A. Verdel and sister of the late Albert and Elmer D’Angelo, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Judith Anne Hiller of Stevenson Ranch, CA and Joan M. and Thomas Bartolomei of Hamilton; a son, John A. Verdel of Brooklyn, NY; a grandson, Jack Alvino and his wife Tara of Castaic, CA; a great granddaughter, Bella Alvino; also, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ignatius Church, 999 Reading Ave., Yardley, PA 19067. http://siparish.org/contact/ . Burial will follow in Ewing Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Ignatius Church.
