John A. Immordino, MD
John A. Immordino, MD, 75, of Hamilton passed away on Sunday at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident.
Dr. Immordino was a graduate of St. Joseph’s University and the University of Padova, Italy where he earned his MD.
A private practice physician for 30years, he was associated with St. Francis and Hamilton Hospitals. Dr. Immordino served St. Francis Hospital on the Board of Trustees, and as President of the Medical Staff and President of Credentials. In 1995, St. Francis Hospital honored him as Physician of the Year.
He proudly served in the US Army, 1st Battalion, 72nd Armor Reegiment with the rank of Captain while stationed in Korea.
Son of the late Vincent and Viola Polverini Immordino, he is survived by his wife, Maureen S. Immordino; his daughter, Corina Earle of Long Branch; a son, John J. Immordino of Brick; step-children, Kelly Botti, Brittany and Lauren Immordino; a brother, Joseph Immordino and his fiancé, Diane D’Amico of Robbinsville.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 – 9pm at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11AM in St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Trenton, NJ 08610. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
