Katherine W. Stoneking
Katherine W. Stoneking, 91, of Ewing passed away Saturday at Capital Regional Medical Center, Trenton.
Born in Weston, WV, she moved to West Trenton in 1950 and worked for Westinghouse Corp. in Trenton. She went on to work at Fisher Junior High School in Ewing in the cafeteria retiring after 30 years of service.
She was an excellent homemaker and baker. She gained her baking experience from her parent’s bakery in Weston, WV. She and her husband, Roy, were avid baseball fans and followed all the Ewing Youth and High School teams as well as the Philadelphia Phillies. along with her husband, she dedicated over a decade of service to running the concession stand at Fasolino Field of Ewing LL.
Daughter of the late Argyle and Hila Fisher Bonnett, sister of the late Robert, Charles, and Dale Bonnett and twin sister of the late Virginia Vermillion, she is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Richard L. and Cynthia Sneddon Stoneking of Stockton, NJ, and David W. and Lynn Stoneking of Kansas City, KS; 3 grandchildren, Brandon L. Stoneking, Whitney M. Stoneking, Maxwell Stoneking; her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Mary Lou Bonnett of Weston, WV; also many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday 6 – 8pm at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing. Funeral service will be Tuesday 10AM. Burial will follow in The Ewing Church Cemetery.
