Steven Anthony Flesh
Steven Anthony Flesh 33, of Hamilton Township was embraced by our Lord’s loving arms on Saturday.

Born in Trenton, he was a life long Hamilton resident.

Steven worked at RWJUH in security and received accommodations for employee of the quarter.

He was a Senior Corrections Officer at Albert C. Wagner Correctional facility in Bordentown; currently employed with Amazon.com in Robbinsville.

Steven was a Class of 2001 graduate from Hamilton High West; Class of 2005, graduate of MCCC with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, followed by specific training in Tactile maneuvers, boating safety courses, First aid, CPR., and many educational courses.

He was a member of Bordentown Elks and participated in many charitable events, i.e. Officer Down. He impersonated Elvis at many functions, and throughout his life he received many awards.

Steven enjoyed, acting, fishing, boating, the beach, NASCAR, football (Life long Dallas Cowboys‘ fan), Atlantic City (roulette), Cadillacs, and animals. He loved singing, dancing, music, Doo wop, oldies, and religious music. Most of all he loved the Lord, always said grace, prayed and read the bible.

A very generous and caring person with an understanding, tender heart, warm embrace, an infectious smile that would light up any room, great sense of humor, strong arms and shoulders. He had strength and integrity. No feat was too small or too big, and always lent a helping hand. He always prayed for every one; he always found the good in them. Everyone, including children, loved and adored Steven. He nurtured sick animals back to health. He had a great respect for his parents, and always complimented them and made them proud. He would always say, “I love you; Thank you for being my parents, I’m so proud of you, I’m so lucky,” and how much he loved his sister. Hence forth, we were the blessed, lucky, thankful and proud ones. Many times he put his life in danger, for instance he had stopped several robberies in progress. He protected his fellow man; he respected everyone. He is the sunshine and evening star. He will forever shine bright. He will be lovingly and sadly missed.

He will join his beloved and proud father, Steven Edward Flesh, in heaven, along with his grandfather Bob Ford, Jane (Inverso) Fitpatrick and Tom Fitzpatrick. He is survived by his loving and caring mother, Vanessa Lydia Flesh and sister, Trisha Ann Flesh of Mystic Island, N.J. His grandmother, Ruth L. Ford, His devoted dog, Bailey. Also, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9AM until 11AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton. Funeral Services will begin at 11AM. Committal Services will follow in the Ewing Crematory Chapel.
