Joseph F. Kaluzny, Sr.
Joseph F. Kaluzny, Sr., 74, of West Trenton, passed away on Monday December 29, 2014 at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell, with his loving family by his side.
Born in Trenton, Joe was a lifelong area resident.
Joe worked for the Lenox Corp. in Trenton for 10 years; was a vending mechanic at General Motors Corp. in Ewing for 34 years; then worked on the grounds at Washington Crossing State Park for 10 years before retiring.
He was a graduate of Trenton High School; a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, the West Trenton Garden Club, Friends of Ewing Library, Central Jersey Anglers, and past member of the Mercer County Anglers; a life member of the Trenton Elks Lodge # 105, and a former member of the Ewing Kiwanis.
Joe was an avid saltwater fisherman and outdoors-man. He enjoyed recreational coaching in various sports throughout the Mercer area, but what Joe enjoyed most in life was being devoted to family and friends.
Son of the late Joseph Stanley and Geneivie Bogan Kaluzny, husband of the late Virginia M. (Ginny) Kaluzny, he is survived by his loving wife, Eileen M. (nee Cunningham) Kaluzny of West Trenton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Kathy Kaluzny of Trenton, and John and Maria Kaluzny of Yardville; two daughters and one son-in-law, Gigi and Michael Masters of Holland, MI, and Maryann Kaluzny of Robbinsville; three step-daughters, Beth Tomasello and husband Mark of Lambertville, Kathy Mundhenk and husband Brian of Lambertville, Maureen Garzoni and husband Victor of Lambertville; ten grandchildren, Christopher, Kyle, and Matthew Kaluzny, Jessica, Ashley, Courtney, Kristen, Sarah, Alex, and Danielle; one brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Florence Kaluzny of Palm Bay, FL; two sisters and one brother-in-law Josephine Kulin of Bordentown, and Patricia and Jerry Luz of Palm Bay, FL; many nieces and nephews including Michael, Colleen, and Richard; many cousins; and special friends.
Funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 935 Parkway Ave. in Ewing.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 471 Parkway Ave. in Trenton.
Calling hours will be Friday from 5- 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Harbourton Cemetery, Lambertville.
