Alyce C. Fityere
Alyce C. Fityere, 81, of Ewing passed away Wednesday at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, she lived in Hopewell for 45 years before moving to Ewing 4 ½ years ago.
Mrs. Fityere was employed in the Hopewell Valley High School cafeteria and was a member of the Ewing Senior Center. She, along with her husband John, were avid travelers and enjoyed camping. Mrs. Fityere also loved dancing and spending time with her dinner club friends.
Daughter of the late Anthony “Babe” and Eleanor Mae Nolan Tyman, she is survived by her husband, John J. Fityere; 5 children, Claire (Jack) Schmittinger of Little Egg Harbor, John J. (Rochelle) Fityere, Jr., Gary E. (Mary) Fityere of Lawrenceville, Karen (Salvatore) Bruccoleri of Ewing, and Kim (John) McNamara of Ewing; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Edith (Vincent) Scannella of Titusville , and Joyce (William) Raywood of Ewing; also, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 – 11:15AM at St James Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30AM. Burial will follow in Harbourton Cemetery, Hopewell Twp.
Arrangements are under the direction of the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing.
