Pasquale “Pat” Adesso
Pasquale “Pat” Adesso, 85, of Ewing passed away peacefully on Tuesday at Capital Health System in Hopewell surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
After serving in the US Army, Pat was a self-employed milkman for many years. In his retirement, Pat worked for the M. William Murphy Funeral Home for the past 15 years and he considered his friends at Murphy’s part of his extended family. Pat was very proud of the numerous state championships garnered by his bocce team. He was a volunteer for Interfaith Caregivers and provided support for many in need. During his lifetime Pat’s gregarious spirit touched many. He will be greatly missed.
He was a parishioner of St. Ann’s Church since 1958 and he supported many church related activities including the construction of the Faith Development Center. He was a dedicated usher at 12:30 mass, absent only when he was busy coordinating the Knights of Columbus monthly bus trip to Atlantic City. Active in the Knights of Columbus – Lawrence Council #7000, he attained the position of 4th Degree Knight.
Son of the late Vito and Sophie DeAngelo Addesa, husband of the late Gladys M. Adesso, brother of the late Natalina Addesa, Phyllis Petro, Anthony A. Addesa, Sr., and Angela Gervasio, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Vito and Jan Adesso of Santa Fe, NM, and Gary and Karen Adesso of Acworth, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Todd Frounfelker of Hamilton, and Robin and Dave Mountford of Turnersville; 9 grandchildren, Derek and Kyle Adesso; Amy (Matt) Gregory, Michael and Kevin Adesso; Tyler and Ryan Frounfelker; Kelsey and Kaitlyn Mountford; one sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Albert Bencivengo of Yardley; one brother, Vito Addesa, Jr. of Levittown, PA; nieces, nephews and cousins; and his dear friend Alice Harkness.
The family will receive friends at the Church of St. Ann Chapel, 1253 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 on Sunday from 4 until 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday 10AM in the Church of St. Ann. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Church of St. Ann.
