James N. Stephan
James N. Stephan, 91, of Trenton, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at New Seasons at New Britton in Chalfont, PA.
Born in Trenton, James was a life long area resident.
He was a contract specialist for the Naval Air Popolsion Test Center in Ewing, where he retired in 1986 after 35 years of service.
James was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in WWII, and the Korean War.
He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, and AHEPA, the V.F.W. in Ewing and Chalfont, PA., and was an avid sportsfan.
Son of the late Nicholas and Anastasia Tsimandriarnelis Stephan, husband of the late Katherine Stephan, and brother of the late George and John Stephan, he is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, James Stephan of Jacksonville, FL., Robert and Tammy Stephan of Jupiter, FL., and Gregory T. Stephan of Pipersville, PA.; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday 10:00 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church 1200 Klockner Rd. in Hamilton.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until time of services at the church. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James’ memory to the Human Society of the United States 2100 L Street NW Washington, DC 20037.
