Joann C. Niatas
Joann C. Niatas, 66, of Hightstown, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at home with her loving mother by her side.

Born in Trenton, Joann was a life long area resident.

Joann graduated from Steinert High School, Mercer County Community College, where she made the Dean’s List, and attended two years at Trenton State College.

Joann taught twelve years for the public school system, and taught 5th grade at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School in Mercerville.

She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Hamilton.

Daughter of the late Stephen Niatas, she is survived by her mother, Angela Niatas of Hightstown; sister, Faith Gulotta; nephew, Anthony Gulotta; niece; Angela Gulotta; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:30 am at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1200 Klockner Rd., Hamilton.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.

Calling hours will be Thursday morning from 10:30 am until time of services at the church. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton.
