Damiano “Ray” Paterra
Damiano “Ray” Paterra, 93, of Ewing passed away Saturday at home with his family by his side.

Born in Ewing, he was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Paterra served in the US Army during WWII and was a devoted grandfather.

Son of the late Antonino and Maria A. Pulsinelo Paterra, husband of the late Vera E. Paterra, brother of the late Jennie Fragale, Mary Stefenelli and Joseph Paterra, he is survived by a son, Anthony Paterra of Ewing; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Helene and Hank Chudzik of West Windsor, and Michele and John Killeen of Robbinsville; 4 grandchildren, Colin and Elizabeth Chudzik, and Daniel and Katherine Killeen; 2 sisters, Louise Hohman of Ewing and Ann Dickovitch of Tennessee. Also, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 10:00AM in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 W. Upper Ferry Rd., West Trenton, NJ.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 6 - 8:00PM and Wednesday from 9 - 9:30AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing, NJ 08618.

Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray’s memory may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
