Anna S. “Nancy” Moore
Anna S. “Nancy” Moore, 89, of Robbinsville passed away on Tuesday at Capital Health System – Hopewell Campus.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Moore was a Principle Audit Accounting Clerk at the Hughes Justice Complex Tax Court for over 10 years before retiring.
An avid seamstress, she volunteered with Catholic Charities for 10 years.
Daughter of the late Joseph F. and Anna V. Shirm Beckett, wife of the late Joseph J. Moore, Sr. and mother of the late Ann Herrick, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph J. Jr. and Barbara Moore of Hamilton; a daughter and 2 sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Carl Russell of Gillett, PA, and Jeffry Herrick, DDS and his wife Joanne of Malvern, PA; 5 grandchildren, Bennett J. Moore, Theresa A. McDonald, Jeffrey D. Moore, Devon and Brian Herrick; 3 brothers and 1 sister-in-law, Joseph F. Beckett of Trenton, Thomas A. and Nancy Beckett of Trenton, and Edward Beckett of Point Pleasant; a brother-in-law, Rev. James W. Moore, SJ of St. Joseph’s University, Phila., PA; also many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 – 11:15AM in the Chapel of St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church at 11:30AM followed by the burial in Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing.
Arrangement under the direction of the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to either Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, 383 West State Street, Trenton, NJ 08607 or St. Gregory the Great Church.
