James B. Peters
James B. Peters, 73, of Ewing passed away on Wednesday at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Peters was a Research and Development Engineer with Prince Manufacturing.
He was in the first graduating class (1961) of Notre Dame High School and, while in high school, a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He was also a member of the Trenton Photography Club.
Son of the late Edward and Sara McGuire Peters, he is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sheila (Rhoads) Peters; a daughter, Jessica Peters of Hamilton; 2 sons, Jason B. Peters of Louisville, KY, and Devin M. Peters of Ewing; a “son” , Michael Glappa and wife Lisa of Somerset; a “grandson”, Hunter Glappa; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Joan “Bunny” Peters of Maine; 3 sisters, Rita Peters of Trenton, Sheila Nerwinski of Morrisville, PA, and Sally Lamb of Coopertown, NY; also many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19 from 1 – 3pm at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing. A memorial service will begin at 3pm.
