Lewis John Mikics
Lewis John Mikics, 71, of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at home following a 13-year battle with cancer.

Born in New Brunswick and raised in Carteret, Lew graduated from Carteret High School and Rider College. After attaining his degree, he began working for the NJ Department of Labor and moved to Hamilton, where he resided the rest of his life. He retired several years ago from Hamilton Chrysler on Rt. 33 in Hamilton after many years of service. Lew was an avid saltwater fisherman and also enjoyed photography.

Son of the late Lewis Joseph and Dorothy Haas Mikics, he is survived by his wife, Denise Damiano Mikics of Hamilton; son, Craig Andrew Mikics of Hamilton; a brother and sister-in-law, David Lee Mikics and Victoria Malkin of Brooklyn, NY; nephew, Ariel Robert Malkin Mikics, and many cousins.

Visitation and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of St. Gregory the Great in Hamilton on Saturday, January 16. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.; Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
