Theodore “Ted” P. Roberts
Theodore “Ted” P. Roberts, 64, of Ewing entered into Eternal Life on Tuesday at Capital Health System – Hopewell Campus.
Born in Trenton on November 10, 1951, he was a lifelong area resident.
Ted was a graduate of Ewing High School and was employed by Fyr-Fyter Sales and Service in Pennington for 37 years.
Ted was an active member of the Pennington Road Firehouse and First Aid Squad; the Lambertville Volunteer Drum and Bugle Corps and the Kiwanis Club of Ewing.
Teddy will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.
Son of the late Walter J. and Mary Stemler Roberts, he is survived by his wife of 37 wonderful years, Mary Ann Gazzillo Roberts; brother of Charlene Tharp and husband Robert, Sr., of Hamilton, Walter Roberts, Jr. and wife Diane of FL, Richard Roberts of TX, Mary Brenner and husband Lee of Washington Crossing, PA, and Betty Jane Gazzillo of Trenton; his aunt, June Foss of Ewing; his in-laws, the loving Gazzillo family; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins of both sides of the family.
Everyone loved “Uncle Teddy.”
The family will receive friends on Monday at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing from 4 – 8pm.
His brother-in-law, Deacon Robert Tharp, Sr. from St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish will officiate funeral services at 8pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Cancer Institute of NJ, 2575 Klockner Rd, Hamilton, NJ 08690 or NJ Sharing Network, 691 Central Avenue, New Providence, NJ 07974.
