Catherine Macrie
Catherine Macrie, 84, of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at home.

Born in Trenton, Catherine was a lifelong Trenton Hamilton resident.

She was a teacher's assistant for the Hamilton YMCA, where she retired after 15 years.

Catherine loved all animals, especially cats; enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Daughter of the late John and Mary Krantz Poland, wife of the late Nelson Macrie, sister of the late Anna Bossman, Helen Dill, Donald, and Joseph Poland, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary N. and Tracy Macrie of Hamilton; her grand daughter, Megan Macrie; many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and many special friends, including Patricia Massei, Gloria Williams, and Beverly Gessner.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 10:30 am until 11:30 am at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton.

Funeral services will begins 11:30 am at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
