Catherine A. Lauria
Catherine A. Lauria, 63, of Ewing passed away Sunday at Capital Health Systems Hopewell Campus.

Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.

A graduate of Cathedral High School Class of 1970, Catherine was a former employee of the NJ Division of Motor Vehicles and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.

Daughter of the late Theresa (Speran) Nickels and Matthew J. Nickels, Sr., and sister of the late Matthew J. Nickels, Jr., she is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Vincent A. Lauria; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Maryann and Jerry Iacona of Groveville, and Helene and Ken Meikle of Dayton, OH; one brother and two sisters-in-law, George and Kathleen Nickels of VA, and Joanne Lauria of Robbinsville; also many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9 10:15am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 West Upper Ferry Road, W. Trenton, NJ 08628. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
