Stanley A. Maziarz
Stanley A. Maziarz, 69, of Hopewell passed away on Wednesday at Compassionate Care Hospice at RWJUH at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton and a graduate of Trenton High School, he was a long-time Hopewell resident.
Stanley retired as an industrial painter for General Motors.
An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he loved restoring his classic cars and could be found at a car show most weekends with his 1936 candy plum Ford Cabriolet during the car show season. Stanley also loved nature and all animals, particularly his cats.
Son of the late Joseph and Florence (Comfort) Maziarz, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and James O’Connor of Frenchtown; a sister, Carole J. Maccarone of Trenton; a brother and sister-in-law, Howard C. and Ramona Maziarz of Delaware; and, two nephews, Shane and Dillon Maziarz.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 17, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:45 a.m. at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing, NJ 08618. Burial will follow at Washington Crossing Veterans Cemetery, Washington Crossing, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Stanley’s name may be made to Tabby’s Place, 1100 US Highway 202, Ringoes, NJ 08851.
