Marie Anna “Sis” Salay
Marie Anna “Sis” Salay, 93, of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville.

Born in Trenton, Sis was a life long resident.

She was a homemaker, and a cafeteria aide for various schools throughout the Hamilton Township School District.

Sis enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, and embroidery, but what she enjoyed most, was taking care of her loving family.

Daughter of the late John and Marie Barth Gray, wife of the late John Salay, mother-in-law of the late Robert Arenge, and sister of the late Francis Gray and Alice Richardson, she is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda and Ted Bucon of Hamilton, and Judy Arenge of Mansfield Township; three sons and two daughters-in-law, John J. and Peggy Salay of North Carolina, Dr. Joseph and Elizabeth Salay of Arizona, and Gregory Gus Salay of Hamilton; 12 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM.

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Byzantine Cemetery, Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sis’ memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Staff Appreciation Fund 1 Bishops Dr. Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
