Thomas J. Kowalski
Thomas J. Kowalski, 93, of Tinton Fall, NJ, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Seabrook Retirement Community in Tinton, Falls, NJ.

Born in Trenton, and formerly of Ewing and Hamilton, Tom has resided in Tinton Falls for the past 12 years.

Tom was employed for 41 years at the General Motors Plant in Ewing as Senior Tool Engineer and Superintendent of the Tool Room.

He served proudly with the 14th Army Air Force Flying Tigers during WWII in China, Burma, and India. Tom also was a lifetime member of the VFW #3525.

Son of the late Antoni and Mary Patykula Kowalski, brother of the late Irene Kowalski, and Jean Wozniak, and uncle of the late Terry Sincavage, he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Joan Kowalski of Catonsville, MD; two sisters, Sr. Mary Carmeline of Lodi, NJ, and Marie Roche of Manchester, NJ; three nieces, Mary Ellen (Marty) Holsneck, Janet (Richard) McDowell, and Judy (Frank) Croux; three nephews, Tom (Martha) Roche, David (Joyce) Roche, and John (Brenda) Kowalski; many grand nieces and grand nephews; several great grand nieces and great grand nephews; several cousins; a long time dear friend, Barbara Shaw; and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Hedwig’s Church, Brunswick Ave., Trenton, NJ.

Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Cedar Lane, Hamilton Township, NJ.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 9 10:30 AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing, NJ 08618.

Donations may be made in Tom’s memory to the Felician Sisters Infirmary, 260 South Main St., Lodi, NJ 07644.

The family is most grateful for the loving and compassionate care of The Staff 1st Floor Renaissance Gardens. Also, devoted friend and hospice volunteer Caz.
