Charles Santo "Ping" Farrauto

Charles Santo "Ping" Farrauto, 79, of Yardley, PA, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 8, 2016 at home.

Born and raised in East Trenton, NJ, Ping has resided in Yardley for the past 40 years.

He was a retired accountant.

Ping was a graduate of Trenton High School and he received his Bachelors Degree from Rider University.

His life passion was soccer. He played collegiately for Rider University as well as professionally for Newark Portuguese, Trenton Extension and The Hibernians. He was a coach, mentor and referee for the sport. He was inducted into the Mercer County Soccer Hall of Fame (1991).

Ping loved spending time with his 5 grandsons, planting in his garden and taking care of his swimming pool.

Son of the late Joseph C. and Margaret Rose Farrauto, husband of the late Margaret Mary Farrauto, he is survived by his two sons and two daughters-in-law, William G. and Deanna Farrauto of Burlington, NJ, and Michael C. and Breckken Farrauto of Truckee, CA; his daughter, Elizabeth M. Farrauto and her significant other, Samuel W. Galenty of Yardley, PA; five grandchildren, Luca, Nicolas, Leo, Myrreck, and Ryder; and many dear friends.

Calling hours will be Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 PM and on Wednesday morning from 10:15 AM until 11:00 AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton, NJ.

Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cedar Lane in Hamilton.

Donations may be made in Charles' memory to Boys Town Nebraska. www.boystown.org. "He ain't heavy, Father... he's m' brother."
