Andrew Breza, 85, of Trenton passed away Thursday at his home.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident.
He was employed by American Standard as a caster for over 25 years before retiring.
Mr. Breza was well-liked and well-respected by his neighbors. His love of animals was evident by his caring and nurturing of the homeless cats in his neighborhood. Whether it was leaving food and water or adopting some of them.
He proudly served in the US Marine Corps.
The family would like to give special thanks to his caregivers, Marie and Charles and his hospice caregivers, Danielle and Chasity.
Son of the late Paul and Barbara Breza, husband of the late Catherine, brother of the late Joseph Breza, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Gary Berger of Hamilton; 2 stepsons and their families, Robert Mendez and his wife Kim, and Edward Mendez and his wife Martha; his furry “grandson”, Kobie; and his cats, Butchie and Lu-Lu.
Funeral services will be private and under the direction of the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton, Ave., Hamilton.
