Veronica M. Culliton
Veronica M. Culliton, 95, of Lawrenceville (formerly of Ewing) passed away on
Sunday, May 1, 2016 at St. Mary’s Assisted Living.
Born in Pittstown, she was raised in Flemington.
A graduate of Flemington High School, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved summers in Vermont and the Jersey Shore, traveling, and Irish heritage. A quick wit and exceptional generosity were two of her many lovely attributes.
Daughter of the late Michael and Bertha Buggeln O’Grady, wife of the late Henry Culliton, mother of the late Ann Culliton Sacks, grandmother of the late grandchildren David Wollert and Courtney Culliton, and sister of the late Catherine and Dorothy O’Grady, she is survived by six children, Kathleen Wollert and her husband Robert of Ewing, Ruth Keister and her husband John of Norridgewock, ME, Howard Sacks, husband of the late Ann, of Silver Springs, MD, Daniel Culliton and his wife Helen of Ewing, Henry “Harry” Culliton, Jr. of Juno, AK, Veronica Kornberg and her husband Ken of Portola Valley, CA, and Celia Wolf and her husband Jeffrey of Yardville; also, 28 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 until 11:30AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12noon in the Church of the Incarnation, 1545 Pennington Rd., Ewing.
Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
