Daniel T. McKnight Sr
Daniel T. McKnight Sr. 68 of Hamilton, NJ passed away on Friday May 6, 2016.
Born in Ewing, NJ, Mr. McKnight spent most of his life in Hamilton.
He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Veteran War who served as a Recon Sergeant in the 125th Infantry.
Dan's hobbies included scrapping metal and collectable cars, Mustangs were his favorite. He also loved trains.
Dan has marched in the Mummers Day Parade in Philadelphia, PA.
Son of the late George and Pearl McKnight of Hamilton, NJ, Step-Son of the late Samuel Rosenberger and brother of the late Carol McKnight, he is survived and will be sadly missed by his wife of 45 years, Ruth H. McKnight; his son, Daniel T. McKnight Jr. and his wife Jacqueline of Hamilton, NJ; his daughter, Ginger L. Cook and husband David L. Cook, Jr. of Heath, OH; grandson Ryan McKnight and Fiancée Samantha Cicale, and granddaughter Danielle McKnight and two great grandchildren, Jaxon and Jace McKnight, all from Hamilton NJ; his beloved sisters, Pearl Sutton and husband James of Conway, SC, and Georgina and John Matyi of Whiting, NJ; his brothers, Samuel Rosenberger and wife Kathy of Lawrenceville, NJ, William Rosenberger of Bristol, PA, and Wayne Rosenberger and wife Jett of PA, and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday May 11, 2016 from 4:00pm until the time of the Memorial service at 7:00pm at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. Hamilton, NJ.
