Jeffrey A. Gambino
Jeffrey A. Gambino, 52, of West Amwell, formerly of Ewing, passed away unexpectedly on Monday at Capital Health Systems Hopewell with his family by his side.

Jeff was a programmer for the Parole Board with the State of New Jersey for over 25 years.

He was a graduate of Ewing High School and MCCC. Jeff loved baseball, starting when he played in Ewing Little League. He currently umpired baseball and softball in Lambertville. He enjoyed watching and cheering his children in all of their activities.

Jeff made his own wine, sausage and loved his fig trees but he loved his family most.

Every Sunday he would bring his wife flowers after his weekly grocery shopping. What will be missed most of all is Jeff’s unique sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sandra Recine Gambino; his 4 children Michael Jon, Marc A., Sofia R. and Bianca J. Gambino, all at home; his parents, Joan and James M. Gambino, Sr. of Ewing; his brother, James M. Gambino, Jr. of Hopewell Twp.; his mother and father-in-law, Natalina and Angelo Recine of Ewing; brothers-in-law, Benny A. Recine and his wife Marie, Domenic Recine and his wife Nancy; his sister-in-law, Rosemarie DelleGrotti and her husband Vince; also, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 - 9pm and Friday from 8:30 9:30am at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 W. Upper Ferry Rd., W. Trenton, NJ 08628.

Burial will follow in Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing.

In lieu of flowers, an education fund has been established for the Gambino children. Please send check payable to “Rosemarie DelleGrotti”, 11 Bainbridge Court, Hamilton Sq., NJ 08690.
