Wilmot B. Shropshire
Wilmot B. Shropshire, 86, of Ewing passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, July 18th at Capital Health Hopewell Campus.

He was born in Trenton but he resided in Ewing for over sixty years.

Mr. Shropshire was a service technician with RCA, later General Electric for over 27 years before retiring in 1989.

He was a Korean War veteran of the US Army serving in the 13th Battalion Engineers as a heavy equipment operator.

He was also an avid outdoors man; he enjoyed fishing, golfing and hunting. He was a devoted family man.

Son of the late Louis and Katherine Baldauf Shropshire, Wilmot is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Marion Shropshire; 4 sons and 3 daughters-in-law, Brad and Brenda Shropshire of Greensboro, NC, Gary Shropshire of Ewing, Mark and Val Shropshire of West Trenton, and Scott and Rebecca Shropshire of Lawrenceville; 9 grandchildren, Meg Shropshire of Greensboro NC, Taylor and Rebecca Shropshire of Tallahassee, FL; Erin Shropshire and Kyle Shropshire of Clinton; Ryan Shropshire of West Trenton and Chad Shropshire of Boston, MA; Heather Shropshire of West Windsor and Ashley Shropshire of Lawrenceville; and Brittany and Noah Kaye of Hamilton; a great granddaughter, Falynn Jaekel; of Clinton a sister-in-law, Ethel O’Rourke and a brother-in-law, Robert Clayton both of Hamilton; also many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, July 23rd from 9 11AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton. Funeral Service will begin at 11AM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
