Mary S. Delaney
Mary S. Delaney, 87, of Lawrenceville, entered into God’s loving care on Monday, August 22, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Mary resided for many years in Ewing Twp. before moving to Lawrenceville in 2011.
Mary retired after 25 years of service as a clerk in the banking industry.
She was a member of Incarnation Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, a member of it’s Altar Rosary Society, Past President of the Parish Council from 1982 – 1984, the Social Concerns Group, and the Busy C’s at Hollow-Brook.
Daughter of the late Nicholas W. and Josephine Sicca Sperduto, and sister of the late Nicholas Sperduto and Anthony Sperduto, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. Jr. and Eileen Delaney, of Hamilton; her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Thomas Bobal of Hamilton; her four grandchildren, Alison, Kevin, Caitlin Delaney, and Emily Bobal; her two sisters-in-law, Elaine Sperduto and Jeannette Sperduto; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many dear friends.
The family would like to recognize and thank the staff at Morris Hall for their kind and loving care of mom over the past 5 years.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel at Morris Hall, 1 Bishops Dr. Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the Chapel at Morris Hall.
Burial will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 935 Parkway Ave. in Ewing. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Morris Hall Staff Appreciation Fund 1 Bishops Dr. Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
