Anna Sahinides, 91, of Princeton Junction, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Merwick Care and Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro.
Born in Pereas Greece, Anna was Co-Owner, along her late husband, of George’s Restaurant in Freehold, NJ for over 20 years.
She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway, NJ, and the Daughters of Penelope.
Daughter of the late Panagiotis and Stamatina Belonis, wife of the late George Sahinides, and predeceased by six siblings, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn (Penny) and Edward T. Osvai of Princeton Junction; her grandson, Christopher George Osvai of New York City; her brother, Andreas Belonis of Greece; her sister, Eleni Theofilou of Greece; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church 1200 Klockner Rd. Hamilton, NJ 08619.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until time of services at the church.
There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton.
