Paul R. Evans, Sr.
Paul R. Evans, Sr., 63, of Hamilton passed away Wednesday at RWJUH@ New Brunswick.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.

Paul retired as a Telecommunication Technician from Atlantic Coast Communications in 2009.

He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School Class of 1971 and the College of NJ - Class of 1976; a member of the Knights of Columbus; and active with Sunnybrae Little League and the Boy Scouts Troop 77 many years ago.

Son of the late Paul R. Evans, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna Barber Evans; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul R. Evans, Jr. of Manchester, MD, and Mark T. and Stephanie Evans of Mt. Wolf, PA; his mother, Eileen Harder Evans of Hamilton; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia M. and David Botwinick of Long Beach Island, and Eileen M. and Richard Halbrook of Tulsa, OK; 3 brothers, John R. and Kathleen Evans of Hamilton, Robert J. Evans and his partner Brian Edmiston of TN, and Thomas J. Evans of Hamilton; also, several nieces and a nephew.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 8:30 10:15AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 11AM. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum.
