Robert ("Bob") H. Williams
Robert ("Bob") H. Williams passed away peacefully on October 1, 2016 after a battle with brain cancer.
Bob was born on March 18, 1940 to the late Howard and Mildred (Sprague) Williams. He was raised in Manahawkin, and later lived in Lawrence and Ewing, before settling in W. Trenton.
Bob graduated in 1959 from Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin. After graduating, he enlisted in the US Air Force (Airman First Class), where he proudly served for five years.
In 1964, he began his 35 year career as a Communications Technician with AT&T. He was a member of the Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church, Ewing Elks Lodge105 and Living History Association of NJ (which is involved with Civil War re-enactments.)
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Nancy (Cray) Williams; 2 daughters: Carole (Kevin) Carroll of Lyons, CO, and Donna (Bob) Smith of Southampton; 2 grandchildren, Morgan Beer of Chalfont, PA and Krystal Beer of Hamilton; great-grandchild, Dylan Farrell; and sister, May Shinn of Mayetta; also, nieces and nephews and their families.
Friends may call on Wednesday at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing from 9am until the funeral service at 11am. Burial in Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing.
