Lillian C. Wengryn
Lillian C. Wengryn, 87, of Trenton passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday October 24, at Brookdale Hamilton Memory Care.
Born March 2, 1929 in South Amboy, NJ, Lillian was a bookkeeper for DuPont before moving to Somerset and working for RCA in Bridgewater. Lillian met and married the late Myron Wengryn whom she was married to for 37 years. Residing in Branchburg where she was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother to Sandra Kenely of Effort, PA, and her 4 children, Douglas, Emily, Kimberly, and David, Edward Wengryn of Trenton, and Bruce and Kathy Wengryn of Loganville, GA. and their two children Kierstin and Andrew. Lillian was an avid bowler and gardener she enjoyed the outdoors and especially the Jersey Shore. Lillian also worked elections for the Branchburg Democratic Committee for many years.
Daughter of the late Alex and Sarah Render Pietraszka, and sister of the late Ruth Yakovchuk, Gloria Walczak, Edward Pietraszka and Catherine Peterson, she is survived by her brother, Alex Pietrazska of Key Largo FL; her 2 sisters, Marge Maira of Sayerville, NJ and Joan Flakker of Toms River and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 – 11AM on Saturday November 5, 2016 at Sacred Heart Church, 343 S. Broad St., Trenton, NJ 08608. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM.
