Marie Manuguerra, 85, of Trenton, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice @ RWJUH at Hamilton, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Guasto, Italy, and formerly of Bristol, PA, Marie lived most of her life in the Trenton area.
She was a home maker, a nanny, and a cafeteria aid for McCorristin High School for 7 years.
Marie enjoyed cooking for her entire family and friends.
Daughter of the late Giacomo Duva and Gioveunina Duva, wife of the late Salvatore Manuguerra, mother of the late Robert J. Manuguerra, grandmother of the late Salvatore Antonio Manuguerra, and mother-in-law of the late Alicia Manuguerra, she is survived by three daughters, Roseann Schmidt of Trenton, Amy Telford of Fieldsboro, NJ, and Maria Manuguerra of Delran, NJ; one son, Anthony Manuguerra and husband Ron Abata of Trenton; six grandchildren, Krista, Rianna, Cody, Jason, Connor, and Zachary; five great grandchildren, Elijah, Gia, Brandon, Gianna, and Mia; one brother and sister-in-law, Angelo and Virginia Duva of Levittown, PA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Calling hours will be Monday morning from 9 – 10:30 AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Church S. Olden Ave. in Trenton.
Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
